I’m not going to begin by complaining about being too busy . I’m taking deep but happy breaths and continuing on.
The newest source of joy is the news of my only daughter’s engagement to the handsome, kind, smart and fun Stephen. There’s a date set somewhere in the not too distant future.
It was decided that our house goes on the market in January. Lots of contractors and workers have been in and out. Almost ready. Almost.
So, that’s the main news from the personal life.
Moving on, I was so happy to find a kind review of my book is online at Publishers Weekly. I’m so proud. The book comes out in January, is available for pre-order on websites all over the place. Waterstones in the U.K., ARK in Norway, Aladin in Korea, kinokuniya in Japan, Renault-bray in Canada, Mightyape in New Zealand and lots of websites in the USA- Target, Amazon,Google books, Barnes and Noble and don’t forget my publisher’s website – Here.

Since the last blog, I worked on and finished this-

Embroidery on canvas
24”x24”
I rewarded myself for packing up most of my yarn by purchasing another Imaginknit mystery box. I wrote on the order that I use sock, fingering and lace yarns, that I like variegated yarn and that I like the skeins to all be different rather than 2 or 3 of the same as it’s for embroidery not knitting or crochet.

The yarns are all malabrigo. The green sock weight is Camaleon. The lace weight -which is a blend of purple and browns is Piedras. The blue-black mechita is Sheri and I already know where I will use this yarn.

Wishing you a happy holiday season.
